is the pregnancy test kit reliable after 3days of having sex?
i did it with my girlfriend 3days ago and the we tried the pregnancy test kit. it showed negative on the test, is it reliable?
Pregnancy tests are not reliable until it is within 4 or 5 days of when your girlfriend would normally begin her period. If it is within 5 days of having sex and your girlfriend does not want to get pregnant, I would suggest she try to get the morning-after pill. It is now available without a prescription over the counter at certain pharmacies (you have to ask the pharmacist to get it for you).Anyone 18 or over can get morning after pills (they are called Plan B) this way. If she is under 18, then you need a doctor's prescription for it. Fortunately, you should be able to get it without much bother if you and/or her go to Planned Parenthood, which is a very helpful and supportive place. You can also get other birth control, free condoms and plenty of useful advice on how to avoid these sorts of situations in the future.
