4. Certain books cost $12.35 each. If the books come packed 48 per box and 50 per pallet, what is the total value of these books?
Answer:
1)
Given: Med.A = 22.5 mg/kg of body weight
Weight of the boy = 15kg
Required: dosage for the boy (mg) = X
Solution: You need to get the ratio
22.5 mg/1kg = X / 15kg
then you cross-multiply it...getting the result
x (1kg) = 22.5mg (15kg)
x = 22.5mg (15)
Answer: x = 337.5 mg
2)
0.037 - 0.026 = 0.011 total misalignment
3)
14 inches / 0.4 inch = 35 / 5 sides (4 side + 1 top) = 7 bars
4)
$ 12.35 each book; there are 48 books in a box; $ 50 / pallet
$ 50 / 48 books = $ 1.04167 then add to the value of the book $ 12.35
$ 12.35 + $ 1.04167 = $ 13.39167
