It’s Time to Replace those Mustang Wheels When…
This freezing cold weather we’ve been experiencing does more than prevent us from enjoying the great outdoors; it can cause severe driving safety risks if you aren’t prepared. Stopping on damp icy roads can take up to five times as long as it would normally. And if you’re tires are in need of a replacement this number can go up dramatically and your risk of hydroplaning or skimming over icy spots. In order to reduce these risks you will need to check your tires seasonally to make sure they are in proper working condition. Bald tires are extremely dangerous and if you’re concerned about yours, follow my tips below.
1. First check the groove of your mustang wheels. Make sure they are free of foreign objects like rocks and other debris. Also check to see if there are any unsightly bulges or irregularities.
2. Check to see if your tires have been wearing evenly. To do this, examine the wear bars which are narrow strips of smooth rubber that are across the tread. If you can see these wear bars it’s time to replace your tires.
3. Another great way to see if your tires need replacing is to take a penny and put it in a tread groove of one of your tires. Place Lincoln’s head facing downwards. If you can see all of his head that your tires need to be replaced.
For your own safety and that of others, it’s important to maintain your tires. Keep them properly inflated at all times and replace them when necessary.

I have a ford mustang GT 06 and my steering wheel shaking after i bought my rims 20'?
about a year ago i bought new set of rims 20' and even when i am driving 20mph my steering wheel shakes real fast... i took my car into a tire shop and got it balanced and it still shakes... is it my tires? maybe i bought some damaged tires or defected tires?
if you still have your stock wheels and tires put them back on and see ifthe problem goes away and if it does it's either bad wheels or you have a bad tire.
