We need to have a mindset that we would be able to complete the job. It will take only few minutes for the job. We shall also see the list of things needed. Here we go the procedure.
Before proceeding with step by step instructions we should know that radio of Eclipse has double din . So we need to choose proper mounting according to the din . Then we should also pay equal attention in choosing the adapter if we want to replace our old factory installed stereo set with new ones. The things needed are screw driver that has philips head , a trim panel and pliers.
The first step is to take the battery cable. Locate its negative terminal. We will be able to find a nut that is attached with the cable. We should make that loose. For doing this we can use pliers. Next remove the cable and it is pulled away from the battery's negative terminal.
Then in the second step we make use of the trim tool. There is a panel also called as radio vent panel or vent panel for air. Make use of car manual for locating that panel. Trim tool which is then inserted into that panel. There are many clips attached to that panel. As we do this insertion one or two clips may come out . This is enough to remove the panel completely as we can now pull that with the help of our hands itself. This step can be done by just puling using hands as this would remove the attachment of clips.
Now there is a light adapter plugged to the panel. This plugging should be disconnected which can again be done with our hands itself.
Next step is to use the screw driver to loosen and then take out the screws. After this we will be easily able to take out the radio from dash by just pulling. Then the harness for wiring is being removed from the radio on its back side. Last and final step is radio is now separated from assembly which is attached by only clips.
Thus we have learnt How to Remove an Eclipse Car Radio.

No A/C out of panel vents at all. '89 Chrysler LeBaron w/ATC system.?
I checked vacuum as in Fact Serv Manual. It is ok, except vac doesn't hold at black port at vac conn as FSM says it should.Panel vents don't work at all, whether at idle or acceleration. Always blows on floor when set to PANEL. DEF and FLOOR settings work fine. I changed out ATC unit and Power Module. ATC diagnosis shows no faults. FSM mentions check valve, but A) I can't find it, and B) I think it isn't the culprit because vents NEVER work- not even at idle (high vacuum). Check valve at Master Cyl is ok and does hold vacuum where it goes into car thru firewall. Temperature settings work as expected. Coolant mixing valve works fine (vac actuated).
Thank you for your help!
You've probably have a servo leaking vacuum. Check each one at the servo. If one leaks, none of the rest will function right. Also the vacuum hoses may have been switched around.
